About ICALS

The 6th International Conference on Agricultural and Life Sciences 2024, or 6th ICALS, is set to take place from July 30 to August 1, 2024. It promises to be a significant gathering, bringing together experts from academia, industry, government, and student communities. The event aims to create a lively space for sharing and discussing the latest advancements in agriculture and life sciences. This conference will be hosted by the Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Jember, supported enthusiastically by the Communication Forum of Indonesian Higher Education of Agriculture (FKPTPI) Eastern Region.

The conference’s agenda is thoughtfully designed to span a range of critical topics in the fields of agricultural and life sciences. One key focus will be Agronomy and Plant Protection, where discussions will revolve around sustainable farming methods and new strategies for managing pests and diseases to improve crop health and yields.

Another important aspect of the conference is Food Science and Smart Education for Plant-Based Diets. This session will aim to connect scientific research with educational methods, promoting a better understanding of the benefits of plant-based eating for both health and the environment.
